  • DAY 1

    Airport – Galle or Thalpe

    Welcome and transfer to a hotel of your choice in Galle or Thalpe. Rest of the day free. Dinner at your overnight hotel.

  • DAY 2

    Galle or Thalpe - Koggala - Galle or Thalpe

    Breakfast followed by a visit to the local turtle reproduction center in Habaraduwa. Afterwards, enjoy a boat trip on Koggala Lake, known for its many small islands, home to a Buddhist temple, mangrove trees, cinnamon plantation, spice garden and numerous species of birds. Visit the Folk Museum dedicated to Martin Wickramasinghe: the most famous Sri Lankan writer of the 20th century. Discover an exposition showcasing the art and traditions of the Sri Lankan people and end the day with dinner at your overnight hotel.

  • DAY 3

    Galle or Thalpe - Uda Walawe - Galle or Thalpe

    After breakfast, departure for Uda Walawe National Park for a jeep safari in this magnificent wildlife reservation, known for its many wild elephants. On the way back, stop in the Weligama region to discover the traditional practice of fishing on stilts. Dinner at your overnight hotel.

  • DAY 4

    Galle

    Day at leisure to visit the charming city of Galle: its famous fort and ramparts house many magnificent colonial residences as well as the national museum and the maritime museum. There will also be the possibility to take a private cooking course for your midday meal. Dinner will be served at your overnight hotel.

  • DAY 5

    Galle - Airport or seaside destination

    After breakfast, transfer to Colombo airport or the seaside hotel of your choice.
