  • DAY 1

    Airport - Hunumulla

    Pick-up at the airport and short transfer for lodging located in the heart of a coconut estate, 25 minutes from the airport. Enjoy the pool, the garden and the special atmosphere created by the majestic coconut trees.

    Hunumulla is located in the outskirts of Negombo, a typical fishing town within close proximity to the airport surrounded by swanky plantations of coconut palms whilst inhaling the soul of the sea. Its economy is largely based on tourism and its centuries-old fishing trade. Negombo is also known for its delectable seafood on galore.

  • DAY 2

    Habarana

    Your exploration the following day is complete on what you experience during your drive to Habarana. Shaded on either side by dry zone shrub forestry, Habarana is centrally located for a relaxed entrée to your expeditions. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch chez l’ habitant follow by MT BIKE tour to discover the village and his craftsmen before proceeding to the Elephant Watch Hut, a unique experience in the wilds.

    If you are lucky, you will be able to see Elephants right in front of you roaming within the precincts like a daily visitor. A village meal prepared by the natives is a must eat.

  • DAY 3

    Habarana - Pidurangala - Minneriya/Kaudulla

    In the morning, climb the Pidurangala rock located within the neighboring Sigiriya rock fortress. The two sights have an intertwined legacy.  This rock continue to preserve a primordial Temple of various eras that replicate Buddhist, Hindu and Western philosophies. Pidurangala is a tougher hike than Sigiriya! Should you make it to the summit, you can experience a Birds eye view of the contiguous scenery and the imposing Sigiriya rock fortress.

    In the afternoon experience the jeep safari.

    Minneriya and Kaudulla national parks are ideal eco-tourism locations in Sri Lanka. The parks lie between forest and the scrubs and is the territory to wildlife such as Sambar Deer, Monkeys and Elephants. The significant attraction of the park is the ancient Minneriya reservoir (built in 3rd century AD by King Mahasena). The reservoir is famous as a sight to watch the Elephants who come to bathe and graze on the grasses along with the flocks of Birds that wing to fish in the shallow waters.

  • DAY 4

    Habarana - Pasikudah or Trincomalee

    Today you will be drop of at Habarana railway station for your journeys by train is one of the most beautiful in the world taking you through the old pine forests. It’s not the most comfortable but rest assured an experience of a life time that traverses all types of terrain.

    Pasikudah is popular because of its stretched shallow coastline, making it an excellent location to get a tan and shallow swimming. The cerulean waters and the white powder sand beach are an appeal to relaxation which are too good to let it go.
