Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the https://www.letstravel.lk website operated by Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd.

These terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time, apply to all our services directly or indirectly (through distributors) made available online, through any mobile device, by email or by telephone. By accessing, browsing and using our website or any of our applications through whatever platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the “website”) and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these terms. By assessing or using the service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the service. You certify that you are at least 18 years old and have legal authority to use this website and that you will be entirely responsible for any costs, fees, charges, duties, taxes arising from your use of this website. You will also be responsible for any information inserted for a third party or transactions performed by a third party on your behalf.

Our service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned of controlled by Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd. Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Lets Travel (Pvt) LTd shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services. You will be solely responsible for any costs, fees, charges, duties, taxes arising from your use of their websites or services.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Obvious errors and mistakes (including misprints) are not binding.

This site is made available for personal and non-commercial use only. Re-selling, deep-linking, copying or reproducing any content or information, downloading or reproduction of any content or information, software, products or services available on our website is prohibited for any commercial or competitive purpose.


Clients booking services provided by Lets Travel  (Pvt) Ltd shall be deemed to have entered into a contract  with  Lets Travel  (Pvt) Ltd, a limited liability company incorporated in Sri Lanka and having its registered office at Hotel Galadari, Office CP4, 64, Lotus Road, Colombo 1,Sri Lanka. This contract shall be subject to the terms and conditions contained herein.

The contents of this site do not constitute an offer on our part. An offer will be made only upon receiving a written request either by mail, letter or by booking online and will be confirmed only once we have received a written acceptance on your part and your deposit payment. Your written acceptance and/or payment of the deposit will confirm that you have accepted the terms and conditions.

A non-refundable deposit of minimum 30% of the full value of the travel arrangements will be required at the time of confirmation of the reservation. Or, if the reservation takes place less than 30 days before arrival in Sri Lanka,  the full amount is payable at the time of confirmation of the booking.

The balance is payable latest 31 days before arrival.

For high season reservations, an advance payment of 50% upon confirmation of the booking is required.

Once the booking has been a confirmation/invoice will be sent. It is the client’s responsibility to check the details of the services given in the invoice and inform Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd of any corrections immediately.

In case of failure to meet the payment deadlines stated, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit.


All services and prices offered are subject to availability and may vary according to dates reserved and can be withdrawn or changed without notice.

After booking, we reserve the right to review our rates in the event of changes in taxes or due to Government policy.  In case of a price difference you will be notified at the earliest possible time.

All bank charges are to be paid by the client or the booking will be invalidated and the bank charges will be added to the invoice.

All the services not expressly indicated in the voucher (such as, but not limited to, pay TV, minibar, room service) are charged to you personally and will need to be paid directly on the spot prior to leaving the accommodation facility. In no event may a refund of such expenses be requested from Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd.

Payment by credit card can be arranged by contacting our office, a fee of 2% is levied for credit card payments.


Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to cancel bookings in case of Force Majeur, unrest, strikes and any other circumstances making it necessary to cancel in the interest of the traveller. For the same reasons, we reserve the right to cancel a trip that has already started. In case of cancellation by Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd, we will refund all recoverable costs or, whenever possible, offer an alternative of similar category. Damages or compensation are excluded.

In case of cancellation by the client of the booking or part of it, the cancellation will be considered valid only after we have received a written notice, signed by the person who has reserved the travel. Cancellations will be taken into consideration on the first business day following their reception. Cancellation charges may apply, please refer to our list of cancellation charges and your travel confirmation. The cancellation charges on the travel confirmation take precedence over the generic ones mentioned in these terms and conditions.


In case of cancellation:

  • 60-31 days before departure:  forfeit of deposit
  • 30-16 days before departure:  25% of total package cost
  • 15-8   days before departure: 50% of total package cost
  • 7 or less than 7 day before departure: no refund

For tailor made products a handling charge of USD 50.- per person will be levied in case of cancellation earlier than 60 days before departure.

Note:  for certain hotels or periods of the year, additional cancellation fees may be charged. Please refer to your confirmation for the exact details.

During high season 18 December to 15 January, 100% cancellation charges are applied from the time of the confirmation of the booking.

In case of purchase of air tickets via Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd, the change/cancellation charged imposed by the airline will be in force. A handling charge will be added by Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd to the airline’s change and cancellation fees.

For groups, special conditions apply.


Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to amend the itinerary or times of the services should the need arise due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case we will endeavour to find the best possible alternative to the service originally booked. These changes do not entitle you to any refund or compensation of any kind. However, should the alternative service provided be of a lower category than the original one booked, we will reimburse the difference between the two services.


In the case of changes made to the booking by the client after the original itinerary has been confirmed and invoiced or after the travel has commenced, the price will be recalculated according to the cost of the new program and a handling fee for the changes will be added. No refunds will be made for services cancelled or unused after the travel has commenced.


Should a reason for complaint arise, we will endeavour to resolve the problem to the satisfaction of all parties. It is imperative to immediately contact the service provider or our representative so that all efforts can be made to resolve the problem amicably.  The relevant contact information can be found in the travel documents.

Should it not be possible to find an immediate solution, we will pursue the complaint with reasonable endeavours, provided that it has been notified to us, within 72hrs from the occurrence by-email.

Any disputes remaining unresolved for a period of thirty (30) days may be referred to arbitration according to the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules by a single arbitrator appointed by the chairman for the time being of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. The Arbitration shall be held in Sri Lanka and be conducted in the English language.


Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd has no direct control over the way its suppliers provide their services, but all persons employed or contracted by Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd or by its suppliers are expected to carry out their duties in a professional manner. It is acknowledged that Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd is a mere agent for the providers of services advertised including but not limited to travel services. Any and all claims regarding any failure or breach with respect to the services must be made against these service providers.

Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd hereby disclaims any liability, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, including without limitation liability for any direct, punitive, special, consequential, incidental or indirect damages, in connection with the goods or services provided by any carrier or supplier, including without limitation liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be incurred through the fault, negligent or otherwise, of such carrier or supplier and the client hereby exonerates Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd from any liability with respect to the same.

Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd will not be held responsible for any event that is derived directly or indirectly from the client or by circumstances that could not have been foreseen or that are beyond their control such as, but not limited to:

  • Unforeseeable circumstances and Force majeure
  • Acts of violence, riots, civil disorder, acts of terrorism, war
  • Strikes, lockouts, other actions of public authorities, governmental organisation or other authorities
  • Earthquakes, fires, floods, lightning, explosions, fog or adverse meteorological conditions

In no event shall Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd accept responsibility for any cancellation, disruption, act or omission which it could not have reasonably foreseen and avoided.

In any event, Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd liability shall not exceed the price paid by the client for the services provided under these Terms and Conditions.


It is the clients’ responsibility to inform themselves of possible health regulations and vaccines as well as to make sure all travel documents such as, but not limited to, tickets, passports and visas are in order before commencement of travel. NB Sri Lanka and Maldives require that the passport is valid at least 6 months after the date of return.

It is also the client’s responsibility to make sure that all participants in the journey are in possession of adequate travel insurance. Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd will not be responsible for any costs incurred due to absence of appropriate travel insurance.


Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to refuse to accept any person as a customer or continue dealing with a client whose behaviour is disruptive or affects other holidaymakers or travellers. If Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd exercises this right, it will not be responsible for any extra costs which may arise.

Any accommodation in the booking shall only be used by those persons named on the invoice and the client shall be responsible for ensuring that no other person uses such accommodation.

Whilst Lets Travel (Pvt) Ltd will their best to accommodate special requests including those for clients with special needs, we cannot guarantee that we or the third party provider of services can meet these.

We reserve the right to update or change or Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgement of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
